These updates re-envision and refactor AWRD to be more user-friendly, feature-rich, and overall more fun to use.

New App

We have rebuilt the entire web app, completely discarding the old codebase in favor of a more social-centric approach. Every aspect of the app has been considered and redesigned to improve user experience and make spending time on it more rewarding.

New Features and Enhancements

  • New interactions allowing users to like, comment, and share posts.
  • Badges are now bigger, bolder, and more beautiful, designed to showcase photography and detailed art.
  • Create posts with ease with our new simplified creation flow that eliminates the need to navigate through multiple pages.
  • Access more information about posts directly on the cards.
  • Use Stars to upgrade your account to Pro.
  • Badge minting is now simple and painless for users with Web3 wallets connected.
  • Interactive leaderboards show you top users and posts.
  • Display your connected accounts on your profile.
  • Achievements now appear on user profiles.

These are just a few of the hundreds of changes that will make your time on AWRD 1000x more awesome than the previous version of the app. What’s your favorite update?

New Site

With the new app, we needed to update the marketing website to include new screenshots which gave us an opportunity to rethink how we present ourselves to new users and visitors to the site. The result is a simplified one-pager that more clearly communicates our vision, yet still gives the user the option to learn more via our blog and knowledge base.

This allows us to be more potent with our web presence and more versatile when it's time to add new sections and features to the site.

Branding Updates

We have also updated aspects of our visual identity to increase readability and aesthetic appeal. This includes new fonts, colors, and motifs that reinforce and enhance our existing brand.

  • Geist and Geist Mono by Vercel are our typefaces of choice for both the marketing site and app. They dramatically increase legibility compared to our previous selection while still retaining unique character.
  • Our new accent color, AWRD Greenish (#E7FFC), provides much-needed variance in our palette via a striking-but-subtle hue that complements AWRD Blue nicely.
  • The AWRD 'W' glyph is now being more heavily used as a motif in the designs on our site and upcoming advertising materials.

Still More to Come

These updates provide a springboard to launch new features quicker and more intuitively. We have a ton planned for the future of AWRD, and are excited to have you with us. Stay tuned to our social channels, especially our AWRD profile, to be the first to know when we launch our next game-changing features.
